*** MULTI CRUFTS QUALIFIED 2017 & 2018 ***

**Crufts Qualified for life in the working Bitch class.**

~~~Crufts Qualified Progeny~~~~
Florence had her final litter in the spring of 2022 , we used a lovely young dog Winston,  who has now achieved his Show Champion title . They gave us a super litter of 3 black dogs & 3 black girls . Prudence & Gylly were our chosen keepers & what fabulous pups they are growing into . Their litter sister has gone to a show home & is doing very well . Florence has been a fabulous mother & role model to her progeny & its down to her that we now have some fabulous youngsters, Sybil , Prudence & Gylly.
** Best Bitch In Show , Reserve Best In Show, Best Opposite Sex, West Of England Labrador Retriever Club 2018**
Florence is a very special little black girl from ‘Gracie’s’ first litter sired by the fabulous ‘Wes’.
Florence started her show career at the ‘East Anglian lab Club’ Championship show ,& thrilled us with a VHC in minor puppy in a lovely class of eight others , she was the youngest by far, & took it all in her stride.
***** FLORENCE has qualified for CRUFTS 2017 at only her second Championship show ,it’s a dream come true & we are so proud *****
Judges Crtique :- Magnavalleys Paint It Black, 6 & 1/2 month black girl, sweet head , good bone , tight feet , level topline , correct tailset , good coat , moved o.k .
She’s done it again & qualified for Crufts 2017 at The Labrador Club of Northern Ireland, Windsor, Paignton , & at ‘National Gundogs’ she was first in a large puppy class , Best Puppy Bitch, & went on to challenge the Best Puppy Dog to win & become Best Puppy in Breed.
National Gundog Championship show Critique :- Mr Tony Floyd (Trenow)    Magnavalleys Paint It Black, not a big one but so well balanced on the best of feet & legs, shown in excellent coat & condition with a well set on tail of good shape , pleasing head & expression, good front angulation , sound & free moving, she tends to be over handled but is quite capable of standing & showing. Best puppy Well done.
Paignton Championship show Critique :- Mr Andy Metcalfe (Baileydale)            Magnavalleys Paint It Black, Well balanced black with a lovely head & expression , nicely angulated front & rear, standing on good bone & feet, correct coat & her tail didn’t stop, sound mover.
We have started one-to -one gundog training & also attend a group training class (Advanced) . She has been very ‘challenging ‘ to train !! Initially being very willfull , but with patience & hard work she has turned the corner . She is steady to the gun , quick to retrieve with a keen eye & excellent nose . She has picked cold game , pheasant, pigeon & rabbit . We are hoping she will join Ludo picking up this coming season.
Not one to be outdone by her little brother … She also won her class at Bath Championship show & has qualified for Crufts 2018 ….
judges critique :-
“Magnavalleys Paint It Black , well balanced  all through with the most lovely head & soft expression. Good layback of shoulder & return of upper arm . Correct ribcage & short loin leading through to strong , well muscled hind quarters. I forgave the fact that she was not in her best coat as her type & construction shone through. Coat will grow back ! Moved well .
She has carried on her successes in the show ring, & though lacking her ‘coat’ was awarded Reserve Best Bitch In Show at the West  of England open Breed club show . She has also , won many Reserve Best of Breed & Best of Breeds , won the Gundog Group at Newton Abbott all before her second birthday .
Breed Judge Critique:- “Magnavalleys Paint It Black. This black bitch caught my eye immediately, not to big & very well balanced, the most lovely of heads soft melting expression, lovely reach of neck flowing into into a very good topline that she never lost. Deep chest & good spring of ribs plenty of bone & tight feet, she glided around the ring , more than happy to award her Best Of Breed “
Florence is having an incredible summer in the show ring winning her Yearling classes at Bath Ch Show, United Retriever Ch Show, Bournmouth Ch Show , all in the company of some lovely bitches. I’m so proud of this little girl , she takes it all stride , she just loves to show off in the ring!
Anthony Allen’s Critique from United Retriever Club Championship show :-
“Magnavalleys Paint It Black . This bitch caught my eye when she entered the ring & she did not disappoint when I put my hands on her. She has a feminine head & expression, a lovely clean reach of neck which led on to correct well placed shoulders. She has a good spring of rib & length of loin, excellent rear angulation . She was shown in full coat & superb condition- Another promising youngster”
On the 3/9/2017 & just 2 days after her 2 nd birthday Florence was awarded her “Working Gundog Certificate “in torrential rain , she showed immense maturity, not putting a paw wrong in all 5 elements. I am so proud of what we have achieved, I love showing her , but to watch her work , the drive & concentration is pure magic & to top it all I bred her ….
Florence has delighted us with her first litter of black & chocolate puppies born early December. She has been a very attentive mother & enjoys playing with them . We hope to keep one from this very special litter to join her in the showring later in the summer . Florence will take several months off & enjoy herself. We look forward to her being back in the showring later in the summer.
Florence has bounced back into condition after her litter & returned to the Show ring after four months , she’s been regularly placed at Open shows with many Best Of Breed . She won Best Bitch & Reserve Best In Show At the West Of England Labrador Retriever Club Open Show At Bournemouth Ch Sh she was placed 4th in a very strong class of 11 in Limit Bitch .
